GIRLS AT THE "PURPLE PALACE," TIJUANA
A retired couple (Tyler & Connie) began offering refuge to street kids in Tijuana. As others joined to help, an old warehouse, the "Purple Palace," became their home. The kids are fed, clothed, educated, and loved in a safe, nurturing environment. The ministry that has taken on the challenge of remodeling the building is www.strongtowerministries.info.
KIDS AT MATHARE HOPE MISSION, KENYA
Hope Missions meets the needs of these children by providing quality education, food, and uniforms. A social worker visits their home to help with family needs. The children are testing so high that most are university bound. Vicki was there in October, 2008. You can sponsor a child for only $35 a month.
